If it is a loch view property in a private setting you are looking for, then Westering Cottage certainly ticks those boxes.
Located on the private Inverlounan Road on the east shore of Loch Goil you benefit from the sun all day until it dips over the mountains in the west. With a mature and private garden this cottage is a real sun trap when the weather allows. While we can't guarantee the weather, we can guarantee the ever changing views that come with such a great loch front setting.
There is a parking bay for one car at the entrance to the cottage. There are 17 steps down from the entrance to access the cottage. The garden surrounds three sides of Westerings. There is a grassy sitting area on one side which has access from the sliding doors in the dining area. To the front is a smaller patio area complete with a BBQ.
The first thing that strikes you on entering the cottage is just how light it is. The floor to ceiling windows brings the view right into the living areas. The spacious lounge and dining area is set up so as to maximise the view. There is a small TV in a closeable cabinet. The kitchen and is bright and airy and has a breakfast bar which opens up into the lounge.
Bedroom 1: Twin beds and a dressing area with access to the family bathroom and shower over the bath. Loch view.
Bathroom: Direct access from the twin bedroom.
WC: Access from the hall or from the bathroom.
Bedroom 2: Bunk room with loch view.
There is a storage heater in the hall. All other rooms have portable heaters. The heating will be on for your arrival.
Beds are made up for your arrival. Please bring your own towels.
Short breaks are welcome all year round and you can arrive any day. Sorry. but Westerings does not accept pets.

There is no doubt that the choice of things available in the area is a major attraction. Take to the water, head off on one of the marked walking trails, hire a bike, book some adventure at the Lochgoilhead Centre or head to the all year Leisure Centre which has an excellent choice of activities.
Outdoors - Argyll Voyageur Canoes - escorted trips on Loch Goil in a 10 seater canoe. Ideal for all the family. Hire a boat from Loch Goil Cruisers or D&M Auto Marine. The Drimsynie Estate Leisure Centre
The Drimsynie Leisure Centre is 1 mile from the village and offers: 25m indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi, Gym • Crazy Golf • Indoor Bowls • Snooker • 9-hole loch side Golf Course • Snooker • Badminton • Table Tennis • Children's Indoor Play Area.
