THE HISTORIC HOUSES AND ABBEYS OF THE BORDERS ARE EASILY ACCESSIBLE BY CAR AND IF THE TIDE TIMES ARE SUITABLE IT IS POSSIBLE TO HAVE A DAY VISIT ON LINDESFARNE.
