Light, spacious family friendly self catering cottages (barn conversions built 2010) in beautiful rural surroundings near the historic town of Linlithgow. Each cottage sleeps 6 - 8, plus cot. Two of the cottages have their own secluded hot tub and all have wood burning stoves. Two double bedrooms (master en suite), one twin room and sofa-bed available in the second galleried lounge. Outdoor play area and woodland picnic area with teddy bear hunt. Good country walks over Cockleroy Hill to Beecraigs Country Park, and walking or cycling along the Union Canal. 2 miles from town of Linlithgow which has good shops, restaurants and takeaways. Local supermarkets will deliver, as will Craigie's Farm. Many tourist attractions and activities nearby including Linlithgow Palace, Bo'ness Steam Railway, Falkirk Wheel and discounts are available at the local golf course and fishery. Good road and excellent rail links to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk and Stirling. Designer outlet shopping in Livingston is a 25 minute drive.
