Quality accommodation in a lovely area just on the edge of Peebles. We are a small working farm with sheep, dogs and cats and family ponys. Lots to do in the area or just that quiet break.
The original byre of Winkston Farm has been carefully converted to form two charming cosy semi-detached cottages which retain the original character of the whin-stone building, with its natural wood interior and pine floors. Open plan design and tastefully decorated with spiral staircase to upper sleeping area. We are a small working farm with sheep including Dutch Zwartble sheep, Border Collie dog and 2 friendly cats. The cottages are similar to each other both 2 bedrooms with zip and link beds ( sleeps 4 comfortably) one bedroom is on the ground floor directly next to the newly refurbished shower room. The kitchen is fully equiped including fridge, waher/dryer, dishwasher, microwave and oven. Lounge/ dinning room with electric coal effect fire and electric heating through out. ( flat screen TV/DVD - CD player) I- pod docking station/ radio alarm clock. Free wi - fi available on request. We are centrally located 5 minutes from Peebles 10 minutes from Innerleithen and 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh. Bus stop is on the main road just at the bottom of our drive. Peebles is a charming town with plenty to do, lovely walks, golfing, biking, shopping, theatre and choice of great restaurants.
