The beautiful scene of the setting sun behind Ben Lomond on Loch Ard is a mere 50 metre walk by forest track from our front door.
Fishing permits are readily available for any vsitors who wish to exercise their fishing skills on Loch Ard or any of the other many local lochs such as Loch Arklet, Loch Venacher,Loch Chon, Loch Drunkie and of course the Lake of Menteith and Loch Lomond.
This beautiful part of the world abounds with beautiful scenery and plenty of things to do including many places of historic interest to visit. Woodlinn is just outside the village of Aberfoyle where there are a few shops pubs and restaurants.
For those that love the outdoors, this is certainly one of the best places to visit. We have thousands of kilometres of forest tracks from immediately outside our home where you can walk, or cycle. There are many local hills for those that love hill walking and watersports centres among many other attractions in the area.
