Ample Off-road parking. Woodside Bothy is situated in the vast open spaces and rolling farmland of East Aberdeenshire, yet only 16 miles from the rugged coastline, sandy beaches and old Fishing villages.

Converted in 2008, the bothy has been renovated to a high standard with large windows, high ceilings providing very spacious and comfortable accommodation.

Open views of woodland and parkland provide a peaceful and relaxing environment to observe the variety and abundance of wildlife.

As part of a small fully operational Dairy/Arable farm, with regret, we feel the presence of small children could pose a safety issue, however babies and young adults of 14 years and older would be very welcome.

Situated within 15 miles of the busy ports of Peterhead and Fraserburgh and 30 miles from Aberdeen (The oil capital of Europe) with it's bustling city atmosphere, nightlife, theatres, museums and shopping centres along with 8,000 years of history.

The Glenfiddich Distillery, built in 1887 and part of the Grampian Whisky trail is within easy reach as is: the castle trail, mountain bike trails, walking and cycling paths, with families being catered for in the many parks and adventure centres.

The Moray firth, home to the Bottle Nosed Dolphin, Porpoise and Grey Seal is a special area of conservation, with short and longer sea trips organised from Banff Marina.

New Deer, 4 miles, has a supermarket, chemist, Post Office and restaurant with Turriff, 10 miles, offering larger supermarkets and a wider choice of restaurants, bars and nightlife.
