A fun fishy day out as part of Dumfries & Galloway Wild Spring Festival.
Visit the wild salmon hatchery and learn about the amazing life of salmon and sea trout, and witness thousands of salmon fry feeding in the hatchery. Then join staff for a field trip demonstration of a surveying technique called electrofishing before seeing first-hand the diversity of fish found in the local burns. Bring warm, outdoor clothes and waterproof boots.
