Blair Castle International Horse Trials and Country Fair is Scotland's leading equestrian event, running over four days in August and attracting 40,000+ visitors. Olympic medallists compete alongside amateurs on Blair's hallowed turf participating in dressage, show jumping and cross country.
The Bruadar Country Fair runs on the Saturday and Sunday, when non-horsey members of the family can enjoy a range of activities from Phoenix Falconry, Musical Clydesdales to Quack Commandos – a hilarious road show which features a collie and a flock of Indian runner ducks! For those who enjoy a spot of shopping then visit one of the 200 stands which houses all sorts of fantastic attractions and bargains.”
Next year, Blair Castle International Horse Trails will not be taking place. Fear not, as Blair Castle will play host to the FEI European Eventing Championships 2015 (10 – 13 September) which will see Europe’s best riders and horses compete for the last chance to qualify for Rio!
