The eclectic programme includes author events, readings, Q&As, pitching sessions for new writers and discussions about cutting-edge forensic technology, morality and the growing popularity of e-books and opportunities for emerging writers - such as our pitch events and short story anthology.
The festival also presents the Scottish Crime Book of the Year Award and the inaugural Glengoyne Short Story Award.
Stirling's festival venues include many architecturally significant buildings, set in the beautiful setting at the foot of castle rock. Many venues also offer panoramic views across the Forth Valley and the location is the ideal base to explore The Gateway to the Highlands.
