The stunning south west region of Scotland is home to a host of rich histories and famous figures whose legacies live on. Burns was born and spent much of his life in the region, which influenced his poetry now celebrated at home and abroad.
The area has many fascinating tributes to and insights into the life and work of Robert Burns, Scotland's National Bard. In partnership with Homecoming Scotland 2014 the South West will present a trail to explore key Burns themed visitor attractions creativity.
