Music Event

Northern Meeting Park, Ardross Street, Inverness, Highland, IV3 5NS
Leading events and festivals creation company, Unique Events has been appointed by Homecoming Scotland to enhance well-established New Year’s Eve events in signature locations in Stirling, Inverness, Stonehaven and Biggar.

The Hogmanay celebrations in Inverness are free and designed to be family friendly. The festivities commence at noon with a 3 hour children's event The Wee Hot Highland Fling which sees the city centre filled with musicians and performers. At 8.14pm crowds will gather on the banks of the River Ness to enjoy the Homecoming 2014 display at Inverness Castle before Comedian Craig Hill takes to the stage nearby at Northern Meeting Park Arena to host The Red Hot Highland Fling, a free four hour show which will be headlined by The Red Hot Chilli Pipers with special guests Inverness based all-female indie-pop band Dorec-a-belle and multi-award winning folk-rock band Skerryvore.
