The Borders organic fruit and vegetable company has achieved major success at the 'Oscars' of the Scottish food and drink industry.
The recognition came for the work Acme Organics are doing, in conjunction with NHS Borders, to encourage pre-schoolchildren in the Borders to eat more healthily.
Owner Seb Rose said: 'We are proud to be working with NHS Borders and their health promoting 'In Fine Fettle' programme to encourage the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables amongst the under fives. The scheme provides one free delivery of a fruit and vegetable selection, followed by two further discounted deliveries."
This is the first award that Acme Organics has won and we are very proud that a small, local, organic business was able to scoop a prize at the awards which are regarded as the Oscars of the Scottish food and drink industry.
