The owner Andy Chung is originally from Hong Kong and he prides himself in ensuring that all of his chefs are able to cook authentic Cantonese food. Mr Chung is renowned for introducing Glasgow to the taste of the east after he opened his first restaurant in the city over 30 years ago.
But since opening the current Amber Regent, his reputation has continued to grow. Expect plush and elegant surroundings at this fine dining establishment. It is in these surroundings he dispenses his culinary art and skills to all diners who appreciate sumptuous meals and unrivalled standards of excellence. The main restaurant boasts plush decor and elegant surroundings which are complimented by a range of quality oil paintings of Hong Kong and China Scenes by Stewart Vernon, one of Glasgow's current elite artists.
Amber Regent are culinary specialist in sea-food and widely known for Sea Bass, Halibut, Lobster and Crayfish dishes.
