Roast Loin of Deeside Venison on a bed of puy lentils; port jus lie: "The balance, flavour and texture of the dish was particularly good. The venison was excellent and had a "melt in the mouth" quality. The lentils provided texture and a degree of sweetness whilst the green beans were bright and colourful and still had bite to them."

Orange and Sultana Sponge with Drambuie Ice cream: "This was another well executed dish with an eye for quality ingredients demonstrated and well balanced flavours and textures. It was a fine example of its kind."
