Many of the pubs and bars listed in this section are members of the Scottish Licensed Trade Association. Founded in 1880, it is the only national association in Scotland which represents all sectors of the Scottish licensed trade industry. SLTA work very closely with VisitScotland on a number of initiatives and were instrumental in helping deliver the Best Bars quality assurance scheme.
