We open at 8am for breakfasts and early morning takeaways and last orders are at 5.30pm. Daily specials complement the menu offering everything from a quick scone and coffee to salads, hot meals and heavenly desserts!

All of our home baking is done right here on the premises and our tray bakes, scones and meringues have a very tempting reputation! Homemade meatloaf, steak pies, seasonal quiches and so much more can make choosing extremely difficult!

Vegetarian options are always available and where possible we use gluten free flour and pasta meaning we should always have something for everyone!

Sunday High Teas have proved a welcome addition to the cafe menu this summer with cake stands stuffed full of cream scones, millionaire's shortbread and light as air berry meringues. Served as they should be with tea and toast this long-time Scottish Favourite has conjured up many a trip down memory lane for our Sunday regulars. Booking is recommended. Served 2.30pm ' 5.30pm.

CHILDREN WELCOME: Kids menu available; free play-park and some very cheeky goats, sheep and hens to feed and pet.

Buffalo cheese burger, chips and salad: "The burger and chips were simply presented.  They were accompanied by a salad and coleslaw and looked and smelled appealing." "The burger was meaty and had good texture.  The coleslaw too had good texture and flavour and it was good to see the use of finely grated cheese with the burger which had a strong depth of flavour." "The chips were well prepared and were both light and crisp."
