Cawdor Tavern is located in the picturesque village of Cawdor near Nairn. The menu caters for all tastes and appetites and fresh local ingredients are used for the dishes. With friendly and helpful staff, Cawdor tavern is well worth a visit.
Scottish Beef and Orkney Ale Pie, Flaky Pastry, Mash and vegetables of the day: "The dish was simply presented and had all the ingredients visible on the plate as described in the menu." "The beef was good quality and the flaky pastry was crisp and had been well prepared. All the vegetables were also fresh and of good quality." "Well balanced with a good flavour of beef and a rich gravy with smooth mash and peas and carrots. The individual elements of the dish worked well in combination."
