Smoked Haddock Panacotta
"A pleasing arrangement of smoked haddock panacotta with tomato & basil dressing on the side. All the main ingredients used were of the highest quality. A well made and thought out dish."

West Coast Monkfish
"Well presented with a pleasing and artistic appearance. Three slices of monkfish, with mixed green leaves, surrounded with a balsamic dressing. The Monkfish was fresh and of a high quality with good colour."

Roast Loin of Highland Venison
"Thin slices of venison placed on turnip puree, served upon buttered Pak Choi, with a square of Dauphinois potatoes to the side. The venison was cooked pink, with a soft texture. The Shitake mushroom sauce was clean and brightly coloured, with an excellent flavour and texture."

White Chocolate Parfait
"Good visual appearance with attention to detail. Warm dark chocolate and espresso sauce with a well-balanced taste. The frangipane was light and delicate, and freshly made. Excellent creative presentation and a well-made dish to finish the meal."

The Chandlery Restaurant is the place to sample the freshest of Skyes local produce, cooked immediately by award winning chef John Kelly. Seafood is landed daily at the local harbour and brought to the kitchens; locally grown organic herbs, fruits and vegetables, tender cuts of meat and cheeses produced in the Highlands must be sampled. Situated in the heart of the islands capital, this is an easy informal restaurant to dine in, with sophisticated, yet comfortable surroundings and warm, professional service.
