Coast is a contemporary restaurant housed in a former bank building. Once inside a modern mix of wood, calming colours and music create a relaxed setting to enjoy the best local shellfish, fish and Scottish meats.

Coast is a contemporary restaurant located in central Oban not far from the seafront. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed and the food is freshly prepared with a range available to suit most tastes. Prior reservation is recommended.
Gressingham Duck Rillettes; apple chutney, mixed leaves and warm farmhouse toast: "The rillettes were good quality and had been well prepared, had a good aroma and a good quality salad of mixed leaves added to the dish." "The apple chutney was good quality and had a good aroma."
Seared Oban landed scallops; ham hock potato croquettes, buttered greens, pea puree: "A good combination of balance and flavour with the salty ham contrasting with the greens. Delicate scallops and a good earthy flavour from the pea puree." "Perfectly cooked scallops and good quality ingredients were used in the dish"
Raspberry and yoghurt mousse with ginger ice cream: "Good attention to detail in the presentation of this dessert with all the key ingredients clearly visible and of good quality."
