We are popular with both locals and visitors. Our style is modern and stylish, with an emphasis on taste, texture and value, with decor to match. This is a buzzing and busy restaurant, particularly at weekends, and the ambience is enhanced by intimate and stylish lighting. House specialities include kaffi lime panfer croquettes with a coconut sesame and tomato sauce and plum chutney, and walnut, hazelnut and mushroom haggis.

The furnishings are of a quality, contemporary style and the dining room has a spacious feel to it. The menu has an array of vegetarian choices including many unusual combinations and all made in house. Food served by capable, friendly and efficient staff.

Tartlet of blue cheese and slow dried tomato: "The round of the tartlet was centred on the plate and the dish was full of colour contrast from the tomato in the centre of the tart, the leaves underneath and the balsamic reduction and small circles of red pesto on the plate." "The thin pastry was very fine and crisply cooked to contain the light Dunsrye Blue cheese and céme fraiche filling." "Skilled pastry making as it was delightfully short. The lightness and tanginess of the blue cheese was preserved when mixed and baked with the céme fraiche."
