The Skerries Restaurant, brings a flavour of our own original home of Orkney to the city of Edinburgh, as well as the freshest seafood and fish, finest Scottish meats and seasonal game.
Skerries Restaurant takes its name from some of Scotland's most northerly islands, drawing inspiration from our own Orcadian heritage.
The fruit of the rich waters around Orkney and Shetland are transformed into seafood dishes bursting with style and flavour by our expert chef. The best of the season's game and prime Scottish meats such as beef and lamb also vie for attention on his innovative menus. This emphasis on excellence makes Skerries as popular with Edinburgh's own resident 'foodies' as it does with guests of the hotel. Fine dining indeed!
Skerries Restaurant within The Dunstane House Hotel is pleasantly placed just off the main ground floor reception area. On entry to the room there is a welcoming fire place, bookcases and interesting art work adorning the walls. High ornate corniced ceiling and extremely high skirting boards mingle with contemporary tables and chairs, creating a pleasant ambience enhanced by selective background music. The enjoyable food is complemented by friendly attentive and efficient service.
