Haunch of venison with black pudding, croquette potato, poached apple and Drambuie sauce: "Attractively presented, with the sliced venison accompanied by a stack of croquette, black pudding and apple, with the sauce drizzled to one side." "Good, firm venison, served slightly pink which was full of flavour, with a high quality black pudding slice." "The combination of items on the plate worked well together, with the apple providing acidity to balance the venison and the black pudding."
