Dining in Kingennie’s popular Waterside restaurant or Cairn O’Mount Bar is a delightful experience
with striking views overlooking the fishing ponds to the countryside beyond, and freshly cooked dishes expertly prepared by Kingennie’s excellent chefs, using local suppliers and fresh seasonal produce.
Food is served all day from 9am until 9pm offering breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner.

Forbes of Kingennie Country Resort is pleasantly situated near Broughty Ferry Dundee. The Waterside Restaurant within the resort has a very comfortable and relaxing ambience created by leather sofas and a wood burning stove. An ideal place to relax with coffee after an enjoyable meal. The panoramic windows around part of the Restaurant allow visitors to look out over the tranquil fishing lake and beyond to the lovely countryside. The front of house team are very customer focused with a friendly yet efficient approach. Altogether an ideal venue to visit when in the area.
Pork with Pink Peppercorn Sauce, Dauphinoise Potatoes and Root Vegetables: "The pork was of good quality, flavoursome, tender and succulent." "The sauce was flavoursome and of a good consistency and colour. The root vegetables and dauphinoise were fresh with good texture and flavour." "Proportionate and balanced with a good combination of flavours." "Good presentation and cooking skills."
