    Hadrian's is The Balmoral's chic and stylish brasserie, which serves delicious cuisine in an informal ambience.  Jeff Bland has created a cosmopolitan menu offering a mix of Scottish dishes and innovative European cuisine.

    Its stylish interior has a distinct 1930s Art Deco influence, with walnut floors and a palatte of lime plus a splash of African violet.  The combination of colours was inspired by the natural landscapes of Edinburgh, taking the Salisbury Crags, sea and sky as influences.

    Hadrian's was voted "best for breakfast" by The Scotsman and this is served from 0700 until 1030 Monday to Saturday, 0730 until 1100 on a Sunday.

    On entering Hadrian's at the side of The Balmoral Hotel there is a sense of opulence and sophistication which continues throughout the Restaurant. A muted subtle green and brown decoration with subdued hidden wall lighting creates a relaxed yet professional ambience which is enhanced by carefully chosen background music. The cuisine is of a high standard and complemented by service that any establishment would be proud of.

    Blairgowrie Rib Eye Steak, Bearnaise Sauce: "The rib eye steak looked fresh and attractive with mushroom and tomato adjacent. A separate sauceboat of bearnaise sauce was served along with a dish of chunky chips." "The rib eye steak had very good flavour and was succulent and tender, confirming quality." "The bearnaise sauce was flavoursome and of good colour and consistency. The chunky chips were freshly cooked and golden"
