Hoodles Play Barn & Coffee Shop

Hoodles Play Barn and Coffee Shop is situated on the outskirts of Oldmeldrum offering a unique fun experience for children, in a relaxing environment for parents and carers.

The centre piece of the play barn is our extensive indoor soft play area, which has recently been extended. Hoodles also offers outdoor activities - There is an enclosed courtyard with fun outdoor equipment and a seated terrace to enjoy a snack, then in the summer months we open The Paddock which offers a wider range of activities. We also play host to children's birthday parties and group outings where special packages can be put together to make a day to remember!

Our Coffee Shop offers light lunches including sandwiches, Panini, baked potatoes with a wide selection of fillings. We offer a children's bucket which gives them the healthy choice of items for their lunch or snack. Then, for the sweet toothed there is a variety of delicious home baking, which are all proudly made in the Hoodles Kitchen. We can cater for most dietary requirements. A takeaway menu has recently been launched offering a choice from either a simple sandwich to a selection of sweet treats for a special occasion. Whether you visit us for a bit of adventure or just a coffee you don't necessarily need to have children to visit us!!!
