Isle of Jura is the only malt whisky to be distilled on the Island of Jura, one of Scotland's most spectacular yet least well known of Islands.

Isle of Jura is the only malt whisky to be distilled on the Island of Jura, one of Scotland's most spectacular yet least well known of Islands. The Island and distillery derive their name from the old norse 'Dry-ey' meaning Deer Island, which even today is an apt description; red deer outnumbering the local population twenty to one.

Jura distillery was open in 1810 and every since has distilled a malt total unique to the Island.
