The Kylestrome is a bright and contemporary hotel located in the heart of Ayr on Scotland's West coast. Conveniently located for Ayr Town Centre, Ayr Racecourse, Prestwick Airport and local golf courses.

Our 2 dining rooms create the perfect atmosphere in which to enjoy the delicious fresh local produce served up by experienced chefs. The menu is varied to suit every taste, although the seafood and steaks are not to be missed.

Our hand picked wine list will ensure you can find the perfect accompaniment to your meal and if you are not sure which wine to choose our trained staff will be more than happy to help.

Road Directions

From the A77 at Holmston roundabout take the 3rd exit (A70) Signposted for Ayr. From the left lane on the double roundabout filter into the middle lane for the next roundabout signposted Ring road (west) Town centre. Turn left onto A79 signposted Alloway, Stranraer. At traffic signals turn left onto the A70 signposted Ring road West, arrive at Miller Road.

Public Transport Directions

By Rail : Use the main exit from station, pass the odeon cinema, cross over into Miller Road and Hotel Kylestrome is situated 100 yards down on the left hand side.

By Aeroplane : From Prestwick Airport follow A77 to Ayr South, at the Holmston roundabout take the 3rd exit (A70) Signposted for Ayr. From the left lane on the double roundabout filter into the middle lane for the next roundabout signposted Ring road (west) Town centre. Turn left onto A79 signposted Alloway, Stranraer. At traffic signals turn left onto the A70 signposted Ring road West, arrive at Miller Road.
