Poachers Pocket With its old world charm, character and home from home atmosphere, Poachers Pocket is a wonderful, informal restaurant in which to sample the delights from our exclusive bar menu either for lunch or dinner, whilst enjoying breathtaking views over the River Dee. In the summer, patio seating is available overlooking our beautiful landscaped gardens. Priory Restaurant The Priory room provides a splendid setting for a candlelit dinner, with its stone walls, open fire and intimate atmosphere.

Baked fillet of Scottish turbot; white bean cassoulet; red wine poached salsify; carrot and cumin puree with a vanilla and shellfish essence: "Another very aesthetically pleasing dish with interesting colour combinations. The fish was resting on a layered bed of salsify. The carrot and cumin puree looked glossy-smooth and was artistically arranged next to the cassoulet." "The turbot tasted very fresh and had been perfectly cooked (as it had not lost any of it's flavour from overcooking). The flesh was firm yet delicately flaky. Absolutely delicious."
