The McKirdy's have been butchers in and around the Edinburgh and East Lothian areas since 1895 gaining a reputation for the very highest quality meat available. A quality that is now available at McKirdy's Steakhouse.
We hope that eating at McKirdy's will be a pleasurable experience for all.
Speaking of experience, you should try the McKirdy's award winning haggis, voted by our peers as 'The Best' at the Scottish Haggis Championship 1998, and our pork sausages were awarded 'Best in South East Scotland' in 2005.

"Mc Kirdy's Steak House is ideally situated in Morrison Street, Edinburgh. On entry you notice the rustic wooden floor and walls adorned almost exclusively with Vettriano Prints of various sizes. Select, appropriate background music creates atmosphere to enjoy a very good Char Grilled Steak, served by friendly efficient staff."
Rib Eye Steak Diane Sauce, Chips, Sauteed mushrooms and Cherry Tomato: "The rib eye steak was of very good flavour and texture, succulent and tender."

Lunch: we are open for lunch on a Friday only from 12 - 2pm.
Dinner: Sun - Thur: 5.30pm - Last Arrival 10.00pm
Fri & Sat: 5.00pm - Last Arrival 10.30pm
