The Murray Arms Hotel has a strong reputation for serving innovative meals daily using only fresh ingredients, sourced as locally as possible.
Dumfries & Galloway area is famed for its quality foods and the chef of the Murray Arms Hotel uses locally sourced beef and lamb, locally smoked trout and salmon fresh from the clear waters of the Solway Firth as well as delicious and distinctive Scottish cheeses.
As well as the lunch and dinner menus there are regularly changing specials to showcase the best of the area and a wine list to complement dishes. The restaurant offers a children’s menu and smaller portions of meals from the main menus where possible.
Lunch is served from 12 - 2pm and dinner from 6pm - 9pm.
The Murray Arms Hotel is steeped in history, with parts of the building dating back to 1642 when it was the original Gait House or Tollbooth from which the town takes its name. The hotel is based in a traditional 18th century Scottish coaching inn centrally located in Gatehouse of Fleet.
