As well as the lunch and dinner menus there are regularly changing specials to showcase the best of the area and a wine list to complement dishes. The restaurant offers a children’s menu and smaller portions of meals from the main menus where possible.
Lunch is served from 12 - 2pm and dinner from 6pm - 9pm.
The Murray Arms Hotel is steeped in history, with parts of the building dating back to 1642 when it was the original Gait House or Tollbooth from which the town takes its name. The hotel is based in a traditional 18th century Scottish coaching inn centrally located in Gatehouse of Fleet.
EatScotland says: “The Murray Arms, a small hotel in the heart of Gatehouse of Fleet; the building itself of historical and local prominance. The best of local produce sourced where possible; the service efficient, whilst retaining an informality."
