Opus One- meaning 'first work' or 'first masterpiece of a composer', is also the name of one of the world's finest wines, a napa valley wine from the joint partnership of Baron Phillipe de Rothschild and Robert Mondavi. The production of this wine is meticulous and we are pleased to offer it as our signature wine.

The Opus one Restaurant within The County Hotel is centrally situated in the heart of Perth. The opulent loungeis sophisticated and elegant in a contemporary way, where an apertif can be enjoyed whilst your order is taken. The Restaurant continues in the same vein with an eclectic mix of modern pictures adorning the walls, mirrored central pillars and tables with large polished wine goblets and crisp white serviettes. The cuisine is of a very high standard and is complemented by friendly yet polished service.

Clash Farm Pork Assiette, Cured Fillet, Roasted Belly, Braised Cheek Cannelloni, Samphire, Devils on Horseback and Crackling: "The Clash farm pork assiette looked visually precise and tempting to the eye." "The braised cheek cannelloni was extremely enjoyable with a bite to the surrounding pasta. The samphire was well glazed and seasoned with very good colour and the devils on horseback complemented the pork with the sweet prune. The crackling was excellent. A superb collection of accompaniments to this dish. The jus was reduced well, full bodied and glossy." "A skilfully cooked and presented dish with excellent culinary ability demonstrated."
