At Playfair’s we are passionate about three things when it comes to food; flavour, origin and seasonality. It’s that simple. Our Head Chef, Duncan McLachlan sources ingredients from carefully selected suppliers with all our dishes prepared in house (we are very proud of our bread!). Our a la carte menu features a wide selection of locally sourced steaks and seafood cooked on our chargrill as well as some creative and classic dishes for those that fancy ‘something different’ – quite literally! And you can’t leave without trying one of our decadent desserts! Lastly, our special wee guests can even choose from a freshly prepared children’s menu.
If the Scottish weather permits, our terraces are the perfect sun trap to enjoy a summer lunch with friends and family or to relax with some pre-dinner drinks.
