Pumpernickel is a café serving tasty wholesome food in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Pumpernickel café was set up as a family business in 1996 and offers a selection of meals and snacks. Choose from filled rolls, home baking, cooked main meals, toasties, baked potatoes and bagels and enjoy with a speciality quality coffee or tea.
The café is committed to providing fresh wholesome food and to adapt menus to suit the customer.
The café is located in Friars Vennel, the oldest street in Dumfries. On the walls of the buildings, visitors can find plaques with notes of historical interest.
Pumpernickel is open all year, Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 5pm.
