Relax and enjoy good home cooked food, glorious views and a well stocked bar at the Shore House Inn. Our menu features freshly prepared dishes and speciality pizzas cooked in our wood fired oven. Lovely lochside garden and cosy wee bar too!
A warm welcome awaits you at the Shore House Inn. Originally built in 1850 as the parish manse, the Shore House is situated in the prime position at the head of Loch Goil, and features a purpose built lochside restaurant with panoramic windows allowing all diners (and even the chefs in our open kitchen) a magnificent view of the beautiful loch. We offer a varied menu featuring locally sourced ingredients where possible, including prime Scottish steaks, seafood and enduring favourites such as our 'proper' steak & Guinness pie, Cullen Skink, chicken & haggis and Highland venison caserole, and we have a daily specials board with dishes inspired from many different cuisines. Our restaurant has an authentic wood fired pizza oven and our speciality pizzas are carefully cooked to order with homemade dough and fresh toppings - you can order from the menu or create your own tasty combination. We have a yummy selection of homemade puddings and serve the award winning luxury Orkney icecream. Our range of home cooked dishes are complemented by a great selection of drinks from our well stocked 'wee bar' including the fantastic local craft beer from the nearby Fyne Ales brewery. The restaurant has a stone terrace for al fresco lunches on fine days.
Please check our website for opening hours or telephone us, as opening hours can vary with the season. The restaurant is not open seven days a week.
