Welcome to our spiritual home of Chivas Regal.
Strathisla Distillery was built in 1786 on the banks of the River Isla, and today is the oldest and most picturesque distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. Chivas Brothers purchased Strathisla on 1950 to safeguard this special Speyside malt for Chivas Regal.
Come and spend time with us at Strathisla, join a tour or have a wee dram of something special at the tasting bar and browse the Gift Shop which offers a range of Chivas Brothers whiskies and gifts.
Standard Tour: every 30 minutes from opening until 4pm daily, £7.50 per adult (under 18's free of charge, under 8s not permitted in the production area). Allow one hour for your visit.
We'll show you around our beautiful distillery, explain all about the craft of whisky making and the art of blending. We will round off the visit with a special tutored tasting.
Ultimate Strathisla Experience (New for 2014): Saturdays at 12.30pm, £50 per person (limited to 8 guests, over 18s only). Allow 3 hours for your visit.

You will then retreat to the wood panelled boardroom for a tutored tasting which will include four expressions of Strathisla, Chivas Regal 25 year old and Royal Salute 21 year old. To conclude an indulgent afternoon you will then be privileged to enter The Royal Salute Vault and sample Royal Salute 38 year old Stone of Destiny straight from its cask.
