Visitors can experience true, traditional Scottish hospitality from the very friendly team at The Braes in Dunoon. This modern, cool and sophisticated lounge bar and restaurant is the result of a recent restoration that has injected new life into one of the town’s most historic buildings. Serving a range of bar snacks, meals and appetisers in the lounge, as well as full À la carte dining in the upstairs restaurant, plus a roof terrace with amazing views, any trip to Dunoon should include a visit to The Braes.
Medallions of locally farmed fillet steak, parsnip puree, wild mushroom and pancetta fricassee, natural jus lie: "An excellent display of very fresh and tasty looking food with the various ingredients arranged in a very pleasing and stylish manner on the plate."
