The newly refurbished Clubhouse Bar and Grill within the grounds of The Gleneagles Hotel has an outstanding vista over the golf course and beyond. The furnishings and decoration are elegant yet relaxed with dark wooden tables and chairs and the occassional comfortable sofa where it is possible to sit by the fire and enjoy a drink if you so wish. Staff are attentive, friendly and vigilant which complements perfectly the exceptional, informal style of the food.

Fish n' Chips, Crushed Peas and Shop Sauce:

"The fish n' chips were very well presented in their own small bespoke frying basket. The crushed peas were served in an individual glass pot and the selection of shop sauces plated and left for the customer to choose." "The fish, which was haddock fillet, was of good colour, aroma and flavour, confirming quality." "Proportionate and balanced in the traditional way, light crisp seasoned batter on the fish, good marriage of flavours and complemented by the minted crushed peas."
