The Cobbles is the brewery tap for one of Scotland’s most progressive breweries, Tempest Brewing Co. Currently located in Kelso just a short distance along the road, Tempest is our craft brewery specialising in fresh craft beer. It was founded in 2010 by former head chef of the Cobbles, Gavin Meiklejohn. The brewery has gained recognition for its cutting edge approach to brewing and produces small batch-brewed beers full of depth and flavour. At the Cobbles, Tempest beers are available in cask, keg and bottle.

Breast of Borders belly pork. Celeriac puree, Stornoway black pudding: ""A colourful presentation of three pieces of golden brown pork, each was sitting on its own spoonful of the puree. A portion of shredded red cabbage gave a vibrant additional splash of colour." "Succulent pork, full of flavour. The puree was smooth, creamy and with good flavour."
