    Welcome to The Cross at Kingussie Restaurant.

    The Cross is situated alongside the Gynack Burn in 4 acres of woodland which provides a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere complemented by friendly but attentive service from the owners and staff. Bedrooms and lounges are comfortable and well equipped.

    The informal fine dining restaurant with a welcoming open fire and well spaced tables seats a maximum of 26 covers. Ingredients are sourced from local estates where possible, beyond that almost solely from within Scotland but with a few international additions to achieve the very best quality products.  Also open for lunches and afternoon teas. Awarded AA Two Red Rosettes. Good Food Guide 2014 and 2015. Michelin Guide 2014 and 2015.

    The Cross Restaurant is located just on the outskirts of Kingussie in the Highlands and is beautifully situated by the side of a stream in an old mill. With the emphasis on fine dining, the restaurant serves good quality local and seasonal food with a twist.  Prior reservation is recommended.

    West coast turbot, baby gem, king prawn, chorizo, jus gras: "Excellent moist turbot presented with a flavoursome crisp skin and good quality prawns." "The jus gras added a good depth and intensity of flavour to the dish."

    3 Course menu with choices £55. Tasting Menu - 6 courses £60 and optional wine matching at £25. Lunch 3 course £25. Afternoon Tea £17
