The Lauderdale Hotel's dining room provides the main formal dining option at this hotel with a less formal atomosphere also available in the bar lounge, where freshly prepared food is available through lunch and dinner service. The ethos of this establishment is to source local, seasonal and fresh produce where possible with an emphasis on home made fare and friendly service.
Seared Fillet of Sea Bass: "Well presented in a large white bowl, the two fillets of sea bass were draped over wilted spinach and cut new potatoes. The deep colours of the spinach and the soy sauce were appealing to the eye." "A very good balance of flavours to complement the subtle and light flavour of the locally sourced fresh fish. A well seasoned, executed and presented dish."
