The Orangery at Dalhousie Castle & Spa Hotel

Restaurants

Dalhousie Castle & Spa, The Orangery, Cockpen Road, Bonnyrigg, EH19 3JB

The Orangery, with its sweeping views over the gently flowing River Esk, offers a more informal environment plus a lighter and more contemporary menu. Again the cuisine is primarily Scottish, but with Continental influences.

Delightful 'Conservatory Style' restaurant, open all day, with views over Anna Park and the grounds of the Castle.

    EatScotland Says:

Dalhousie Castle is a magnificent and splendid venue, and within a few miles of Edinburgh. It offers excellent and varied food in its restaurants, but for those wanting a less formal place to eat, the Orangery makes the choice. High quality food, served in a friendly atmosphere, and overlooking the hotel gardens make this a venue to visit.

Chicken liver mousse, diced parma ham and prune compote: "Good quality." "Fresh and wholesome." "The overall balance and flavour of the dish was good with all the ingredients working well in combination." "Simply prepared using good quality, fresh ingredients."
