Situated at the top of Hope Street and connected to The National Piping Centre, guests can experience traditional Scottish fayre with a contemporary twist. All the typical favourites of haggis, neeps and tatties, cullen skink, Stornoway black pudding, fresh seafood, interesting vegetarian dishes and an interesting and tasty children's menu.
Our Pipe Major’s Breakfast is a perfect start to the day. Sausages, Bacon, Eggs, you name it. We also offer a continental breakfast for our hotel guests.
As well as our a la carte and set menu, The Pipers' Tryst is also an ever popular pre-theatre haunt. Situated across the road from Theatre Royal and within easy walking distance to The Pavillion, Kings Theatre, Royal Concert Hall and local cinemas we are a much-loved place for theatre goers and film fans alike. Pre theatre menus are available priced £12.95 - £15.95. Or why not try our Summer Sizzler menu, available between 5pm and 9pm. Sit back, relax and enjoy a two course meal with a complimentary glass of wine for £10.
Our wine list is selected every 6 months, featuring new and exciting wines from around the world as well as classic favourites. All our wines are priced within the value of £14.95 - £18.95 and are excellent value for money. We also have an extensive malt whisky shelf giving you an extensive choice for your nightcap!
We also offer private dining for parties of 12-120 within various rooms across The National Piping Centre. The Tryst restaurant seats up to 40 people and is perfect for an intimate private party to celebrate birthdays, engagements, anniversaries or any special occasion with your friends and family.
Our Large Auditorium can seat up to 120 people and can also host live bands, DJ & Dance floor or a full ceilidh for a good old fashioned Scottish Shindig!
