The Riverview Restaurant within The Atholl Arms Hotel is situated in the lovely village of Dunkeld in Perthshire. The interior has clean traditional decoration complemented by vibrant modern artwork, a dark wood floor and tables are contrasted by colour coordinated chair upholstery. The food is freshly prepared and the selection would fulfil most customer needs. Also the staff are friendly, diligent and attentive in their service.
Carrot Cake with Crème Chantilly and Berry Compote: "The texture of the sponge was fairly light and moist. The icing was soft, smooth and holding shape." "The crème Chantilly was served part frozen as an ice cream would be. This worked extremely well and the creamy silky flavour was superb. The berry compote was of a good consistency with berries holding shape." "Prepared to a good standard with commendably precise clean presentation."
