Pan-fried breaded Linda Dicks organic chicken, crushed Carroll's Heritage thyme and Edinburgh smoked bacon potatoes with local spinach: "A Simple presentation of chicken breast with a golden breadcrumb coating, drizzled with a bright green sauce on top of a mound of potato within which were clearly visible and sizeable chunks of bacon. The mild aroma of garlic was mouth-watering and tempting and the dish looked very appealing." "Moist, flavoursome breast meat with a crispy coating that had been gently seasoned. Very tasty and very satisfying." "Well prepared, with respect shown to the ingredients used. The chicken was moist and flavoursome and the potatoes and bacon would have been a satisfying meal in their own right. Very good indeed."
