A family run business with two dining areas. The brasserie which sits 36 with a private cover that sits 10 people. The Red room which
can be used for a private party or a family celebration. Set menus and choice menus can be selected from a wide range of menus.
Upon entering The Unicorn Inn you are immediately made welcome and invited to enjoy the relaxing, modern lounge, with its comfortable leather sofas to look at the menu and have a drink. The main dining room is The Brasserie and with its clean, contemporary lines and comfortable banquette style seating it has a relaxing ambience created by selected background music and a warm atmosphere making this restaurant an ideal venue to enjoy very good food and service.
Shetland Salmon on lemon crushed potatoes, seasonal greens and white wine and chive sauce: "A simple presentation, the salmon was plated together with the potatoes that were arranged in a neat round and the green vegetables placed to the side. There was also a light pouring of wine and chive sauce lying underneath the salmon. The fish had good colour and the vegetables were bright and looked fresh." "The salmon was cooked well and was moist and flavoursome. The vegetables were al dente and tasted very fresh. The potatoes were of excellent quality." "Balanced, fresh, summer flavours. The seasoning was just right."
