Potato and watercress soup with a poached egg: "Smoothly blended potato and watercress, and a perfectly poached egg, colourful and tasty, with a runny yolk and just set white." "Rich, thick and satisfying"

Roast loin of lamb with a lemon thyme potato cake: "An aromatic presentation, with the sliced loin set atop a large streak of red pepper puree, and the potato cake placed vertically on the side." "High quality loin of lamb, cooked perfectly pink as discussed. Succulent and full of flavour."

Pistachio cheesecake with cherry sorbet: "The delicate pistachio flavour in the cheesecake was complemented by the wonderful punch of the sorbet, crammed as it was with delicious, macerated fruit. A most enjoyable dessert.
