Book a seat in our restaurant and enjoy an indulgent meal - whether its a romantic meal for two or a celebration with friends and family, you will not be disappointed.
Nestled in the rich farming hamlet of Auchtertool, this cosy restaurant has been refurbished recently to create an eclectic mix or old and new, incorporating wood and slate flooring. The orignal bar was one from the first RMS Mauretania, that captured the Blue Riband in 1907.
The philosophy behind the food at the Tiel is one purely to use the produce of some Fife farmers, growers and producers, so that our food will never have to travel far to reach your table. An inspired menu and daily specials ensure that only the freshest seasonal local produce is used.
As an independant free house it is our amim to serve a good quality, ever-changing selection of local and regional cask & botteled ales. Our wine list is carefully chosen to provide the perfect complement for our food - all our wines are selected from small independant growers, to bring you the best - from delicious, but inexpensive, reds and whites up to champagne to help you celebrate in style.
We strongly advise to pre-book tables for Friday & Saturday evenings. The restaurant serves food all day on Sunday from 12-7.45pm.
We look forward to welcoming you soon.
