The Tolbooth Seafood Restaurant is in an ideal picturesque location overlooking the Harbour at Stonehaven near Aberdeen. On viewing the building you are made aware from a plaque on the wall outside that it used to be a Court House and Jail. Internally, the premises are modern yet retaining character with wooden floors and whitewashed stone. An eclectic mix of vibrant pictures adorn the walls and the crisp white linen and large polished wine goblets create panache and elegance, yet in a relaxed way. An ideal spot to enjoy fresh fish and shellfish, served in a friendly, attentive, professional manner.
Hand Dived Scallops, Purple Potatoes, Exotic Mushrooms, Bacon and Mussel Foam: "The scallops were of superb quality, firm, fresh and sweet in flavour." "Accomplished sourcing of ingredients, cooking and presentation."
