"The sauce had a good consistency and flavour, and a very good complement to the meat. Accompanied by a very good choice of seasonal vegetables, providing good colour and textural variety."
Our 17th century hotel offers superb local cuisine and traditional Orcadian hospitality. The Victoria Restaurant has traditional, elegant decor and the ambience is enhanced by relaxing, soft Orcadian music.
Our innovative menu offers Aberdeen Angus beef, Orkney Lamb and daily harvested seafood.
Overlooking our private gardens, guests may dine on house specialities such as Lobster Thermidor and hand-dived king scallops in the summer and traditional local winter favourites such as clootie dumpling and clapshot fritters.
Our typical customers are in the over 35 age group and include both tourists and business people.
